🇩🇪 Iron-on Transfer Instructions
With our iron-on transfers, you can easily personalize your favorite sewn or store-bought pieces. To ensure your motif adheres perfectly and stays beautiful for a long time, please follow the instructions below.

For polyester or softshell, reduce the temperature to approx. 120 °C.
Instructions for the iron
1. Prepare the textile
Place your garment on a hard, heat-resistant surface. A soft ironing board is less suitable, as sufficient pressure is required for the application.
Pre-iron the desired area briefly to ensure it is smooth, dry, and preheated.
2. Check & position the iron-on
Before applying, check your iron-on transfer for any residual granules and remove them beforehand.
Then position the motif in the desired spot. The motif faces upward.
3. Set the iron
Set your iron to a medium temperature of approx. 130 °C (about 2 dots).
Please do not use steam.
Since irons can reach different temperatures depending on the manufacturer and model, this setting is merely a guide.
4. Pressing the motif
Place baking paper between the iron and the transfer film.
Press the iron onto the motif for approx. 15 seconds with firm, even pressure.
Important: Do not move the iron back and forth; place the iron down and press firmly.
If the motif is larger than your iron's surface, work over the motif section by section. Ensure that every area receives sufficient heat and pressure.
5. Peeling off the transfer film
Peel off the transparent transfer film while warm and carefully.
If any parts of the motif lift, place the film back down and press that area again.
6. Re-pressing
For optimal durability, we recommend covering the motif with baking paper after removing the transfer film and pressing again for a few seconds.
Instructions for the heat press
Set your heat press to:
130 °C · 15 seconds · medium pressure
Position the iron-on transfer on your textile and press according to the specified parameters.
Then peel off the transfer film while warm.
For optimal durability, you can cover the motif with baking paper and press it briefly once more.
Polyester, softshell & special materials
For polyester and softshell, we recommend a reduced pressing temperature of approx. 120 °C to avoid potential resublimation or discoloration.
For nylon and coated materials, the durability of the transfer may vary depending on the coating.
Since materials and coatings vary by manufacturer, we generally recommend:
Please test temperature, pressure, and compatibility beforehand on a fabric scrap or an inconspicuous spot.
Washing & care
Our DTF transfers are generally washable up to 60 °C.
For particularly long durability, however, we recommend:
- wash at 30 °C
- turn the garment inside out
- wash as gently as possible
- do not use fabric softener
- do not iron directly over the motif
- follow the care instructions for the textile used
